Soulie on the other hand surprise me with some of her craft. You are so Crafty Junkie just like me..hahahaha... Do you know that Crafty Junkie like us can spend more than one hour in a stationary or craft shop and buy almost everything that we thought it looks cute. That is so us.. Even my colleague over here in KK says that one hour is not enough for me whenever I goes to stationary. .hahaha..

Meetup @Marmalade Bangsar Village

Once again we plan for another blogger meet up during CNY holiday and only a few that made it happen. BellaEnveeus & Shemah was suppose to join us but unable to do so as Bella was caught with fever and so Allie. Hope they are doing well.

Anyway, the plan still go on with only us and still we were having so much fun. Especially getting to know lil Qeeb. He is so adorable and so good tackling lady like me.. *cair kejap... LOL

Qeeb did something that make us all got few seconds of heart attack. He hijacked a glass of Coke that belong to Soulie and spill the drink on the table.. Hahaha... He then making this cute guilty look at his face and *cair my poor heart again... gagaga

No More Europe & Mumbai By AirAsia X

Escalating costs force AirAsia X to halt flights to Europe and Mumbai is updated news about giant low-cost carrier, AirAsia X which operates long haul flight from its KL hubs soon.The weekly flight will be suspended last on 31st March.

This news however disappoints my friend and I as we have already bought our return flight ticket with AirAsia X to Europe in September 2012. Luckily AirAsia sorts out the problems by offering few option to all affected guests like us. Thus, we decided that we still go on with our holiday plan in Europe by opting for alternative carrier with no additional cost. Of course the most important things is that "NO ADDITIONAL COST". Thus, we need to drop them an email with our choice of alternative carrier. We are thinking of Emirates or Etihad Airways but we still accept MAS thou.. :)

At least, our holiday plan is still on but with something even better which is flying with a carrier with full service and perhaps may have the chance to be at other unexpected places like Dubai or Abu Dhabi. We all keep our fingers cross.

More than 4 country to visit within 16 days. How I wish that we can actually go for "Around the Word in 80 days" .. :)

Postcard

Collecting postcard is one of my latest hobby. This is all started when EmilaYusof , CK and I tweets each other about exchanging postcard whenever we going for our vacation abroad in our last. It is one great idea of sending postcard as souvenir from abroad. Since then, I started posting them the postcards and our first one is during my vacation in Bangkok, Thailand. More story about my recent trip here. Then whenever I found out about any of my friends that going abroad, I will simply ask them to send me a postcard. So, there goes one of my dearest blogger friend, Roxychick with her postcard for me. Then later, Shemah told me about this PostCrossing.Com that is so the right place for me to get more postcard from all over the world. According to PostCrossing.Com, the goal of this project is to allow people to receive postcards from all over the world, for free. Well, almost free! The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world.

You may wonder how does it works. Well, it is so simply by just;


1. Request an address from the website
2. Mail the postcard to the address
3. Wait to receive a postcard
4. Register the received postcard in the system


More info about it here. They even have a group of Malaysian that enjoying this postcrossing project. I bet they must have quite interesting postcard from different places that you cant imagine it to yourself. I think this is the right place for me and my new hobby; Postcard. You cant measure your own feeling, the element of surprise when you receiving a postcard by mail and not from e-Mail.

DIY Anniversary Card

Once again I make DIY anniversary card for him. Previously, I used the paper art for the card. More story in my previous entry here. This time around I create a pop-up heart in the middle of the card for some 3D effect. The love quote that I found while surfing is best describe my personal message to him. I used colored wooden alphabet for it and glue it on A4 saiz of 160 gsm colour card. I used the same material to create the pop-up heart. Then I used a recycle brown envelope as the outer wrap for the card and tied it up with a white string. As additional add on for the card, I clipped two piece of little brown clip on the white string.
